Always consider the back of the couch when walking into a room. Create interest by personalizing the space. Bring in the tones and finishes in your decor to compliment the room. I like to choose pieces for a sofa table that are “finished” completely… meaning if you are in the room looking back you are not seeing the back of a picture frame. Solid pieces are a much better choice. Lamps always highlight the finishing touches. Hide the cord under the area rug and sofa.
